Sopheon plc announces that warrants over 900,000 of its ordinary shares, which were due to expire on 31 December 2000, have been extended to 31 March 2001. Mr. B.K. Mence, a director, has an interest in 300,000 of the warrants.The mandatory offer period will start on 29 December 2000 and last until 26 January 2001. Settlement for the tendered shares in the mandatory offer is expected to take place within 5 days after the expiry of the Offer Period. Versatel Telecom International N.V. on Friday announced that it has reached agreement with NorthPoint Communications to acquire NorthPoint's 50% stake in VersaPoint and unwind the VersaPoint joint venture. read news page
